Draft Challenge

Winning streaks are good. I tend to focus less on Macha and his moronic line-ups (which are back to being stupid) because the outcomes help me deal with the ineptness. A loss to Roy Halladay to snap the streak doesn't even bother me too much. I'm a realist. Setherton is going to lose to Halladay 95 out of 100 times, even if Macha manages to set the "right" line-up.

So with our mighty Athletics calming my nerves, I've been able to focus my attention on the 2005 First-Year Player Draft, which is just days away. The draft really tickles my fancy. I called in sick last year to listen to a friggin conference call. I'm weird like that.

Anway, Bobby over at The Future of A's Baseball has posted his predictions for the first two rounds of the draft. I'd like to challenge him and anyone else out there who thinks they know their draft stuff. The challenge will cover only the First Round and the Supplemental First Round.

It's pretty simple. You wil get one point for every correct pick. Everyone who tallies a higher score than me will get a compilation CD of music that doesn't suck. And if the winner(s) don't like it, it's only because his/their taste in music sucks.

Good Luck. .......... Just Kidding.
