You suck, Macha

Like my professor said to me when I turned in my senior thesis entitled "The Upside of Gang Rape," you just don't fucking get it, do you?

Stop letting Kendall bat. When he came up in the 7th representing the tying run with two on and one out, there was only one way his at-bat was going to end, and that was with the double play that he shockingly hit into. Kendall is going to kill us this year the same way Hatteberg killed us last year, and you're not ever going to take him out the lineup, are you, Macha? What's that? Oh, right. I forgot. His intangibles, leadership, and great defense. I especially liked how he bounced yet another throw to second base last night. That was pretty shocking. I don't know where this team would be if we removed the worst player in the American League from the everyday lineup.

So anyway, you're currently protecting the team's best hitter with a double play machine. Everybody at the bar last night was hopeful after Swisher's base knock brought the tying run to the plate, and then everybody realized that Kendall was up, and the inning would soon be over.

One predictably weak infield chopper to third base later, the inning was over. No Melhuse. No chance to extend the inning. And once again, you were content to let the worst possible option go up there in a crucial situation. Same old Macha.

Yeah, Ellis hit into an inning ending double play with two on, and Chavy was up as the tying run in the 8th, and neither got the job done. But guys aren't always going to succeed. At least Chavy and Ellis are the teams best bets in those situations. Kendall is a total failure on every possible level. I don't care that he used to be good. He sucks now.

Macha is only capable of managing this team when things are going well. When the pitchers are pitching, the hitters are hitting, and the defense is fielding, everybody is quick to credit the steady hand of Sir sleeps-a-lot. But when moves need to be made, when minor adjustments are required, Macha fails miserably, every time. Just like he did last night, and just like he'll do again and again and again for the next three years.

You suck, Macha.

Macha finally woke up and put Scutaro in the lineup today but to nobody's surprise he's cooled off from several days of sitting around. Why isn't Nick Swisher playing first base and Jay Payton playing left? Oh yeah, Dan Johnson is going to break out of his slump anyday now! LOL! Macha sucks, and he got lucky today...I'm sure he'll let Haren give up 10 runs today before coming to get him! FIRE KEN MACHA!

Macha keeps Johnson in the lineup because he reminds him of "Scotty the Hotty". Similarly, Crosby keeps on batting third because Macha probably has the hots for him too.

Ass-wipe at it again. I had my reservations when Huston Street was put into an unwinnable game on Friday night, and my worst fears were realized. Today he's got nothing in the tank, and BOOM! Blown save, in line for the loss. EARTH TO KEN MACHA: work your closer only when you know there is NO CHANCE IN HELL that he'll be pitching 3 nights in a row. If we were losing by alot on Saturday, then it would be okay to use Street since we have an offday on Monday. However, look what has happened. Thanks alot, retard!!

This goes back to Friday night when Macha brought Street into the 9th inning, with the team trailing 5-2. I don't know WHAT baseball school Macha went to, but in this day and age, you NEVER bring in your closer in a non-save, non-tie situation. Never. Didn't the A's learn this enough with Billy Koch?

The ONLY time you bring your closer is in a save situation or a tie game in late/extra innings. I don't care if he didn't pitch in the previous series, or whatever; you keep your closer sharp mentally and physically by ONLY using him in the above two situations.

When Macha brought Street in Friday night, a handful of us in Section 129 (right behind the bullpen) groaned. Wrong time, wrong place. And what happened? Huston had nothing and gave up a run - meaningless, yes, unless you look at it in terms of the damage it did today.

ABSOLUTELY all Macha's fault what happened today in the 9th inning, because if Macha didn't fuck Huston up Friday night, then this game would have ended with the 3-1 win the A's earned through hard work today.

Instead, it's AT LEAST the fourth loss the A's have suffered this year than you can pin directly on Macha. And it's only the 13th game of the season.

I tried to explain that to the good folks Nico and Blez over on A's Nation. Only 48 hours after registering, they thought I had offered enough help, and banned me. Someone DID warn me.....still, I'm sad.

Over at Pathetics Nation, we've got a "Swindall-O-Meter" (Swindall being our nickname for the caveman maquerading as the AAA's catcher) that keeps track of how many ABs the guy has gone in an Oaaakland uniform without jerking one out of the park.

To date, the count is 634 ABs and 0 HRs.

And Macha trots the guy out there, day after day.

MORON!

The Anti-Blez has spoken.

It shouldn't surprise you. That's the MO over at Asslickers Nation--to ban anyone who dares question the wisdom of the T-shirt salesman.

That site is all about selling "In Billy We Trust" T-shirts and nothing about critical analyses of the AAA's.

I'm proud to be the FIRST person the T-shirt salesman banned. I certainly won't be the last, though.

In Billy I trust, but I do not trust in his trust of Ken Macha.

Wasn't the bullpen supposed to be rested? Why did we have to rely on Huston trying to close it out having pitched 3 days in a row? He's pitched 3 consecutive games exactly once in his young career, and now twice, to disastrous results. Macha once again fucks it up and has it blow up in his face.

Macha is an idiot, he needs to be fired.

Nico was defending him to the end on the boards today, they don't dare question anything he does. At my rate I'll probably get banned soon.

I got booted from AN last summer for criticizing Macha and Rincon too much. That site is just as bad as Krukow and Kuiper, basically.

Dan Haren was DEALING today and his pitch count was exactly 100 after 8 innings. Why not let him start the 9th against Michael Young and bring in Kennedy to face Texeria (who sucks balls batting right) if Young reaches base? Instead, Captain Clueless trots in Street, despite him pitching twice in the previous two games (less than 48 hours since the first appearance). Perhaps if Macha didn't use Street needlessly on Friday he would have been a bit fresher today, but he obviously wasn't. If Macha's love interest Barry Zito had a 3-1 lead going to the 9th he would have had the chance to finish it, why not Haren? I'm almost at the point where I hope the A's go in the tank completely in 2006 (100 losses will do) so Billy will be forced to eat Macha's salary and hold someone accountable for his own mistake!! FIRE KEN MACHA!

I expect the A's to win the division this year; if they don't, it will solely fall on Macha's shoulders. This is the best team the A's have had since 1992, easily.

No one gets banned for their opinion on AN, only for the inappropriate way they state it. If you you don't understand this then you're too stupid to post there.

I argued my position on Macha in the AN diaries eloquently, backing up with statistics, examples and comments by experts. But I was told my "attitude" was inappropriate for the site. Please don't tell me I'm too stupid to post there; that's what I was told by the people I disagreed with, even though they had no ability to back up anything they claimed. I was thrown off, because I was being honest in my criticism. Your post only proves the point about AN; if you don't toe the company line there, they revoke your account. A hundred blowhards can praise Macha, but when smarter cookies criticize him, they're asked to leave. That site is worthless.

You never, not once, insulted any members on the site? Using the term "scrotum licking", regardless of your opinion of Macha or anything else, is what's not tolerated. What a bunch of BS you're spewing.

He got booted for whatever. I got booted for alluding to scrotum-lickers as scrotum-lickers. Bad for me.
